Bottom Shelf Showdown #5? Sure, why the hell not. We've got Aristocrat, champion of college parties everywhere, vs. Ten High, which claims to be a bourbon whiskey. They both may taste like garbage, but which one would you rather have in a bar fight? Both? Neither? Check out this episode to see, and so you don't have to try any.
Virginia has been kind to us. Old Forester 1910 is now something we can find on the shelf, which has been lacking. Old Forester is typically a great choice at any expression, but let's see how this 93 proof entry in their Whisky Row series stands up. This is actually a whiskey trying to recreate what happened on the bottling line in 1910, which caused Old Forester to re-barrel a whiskey at a lower proof, which is what they do again with this expression. Is it worth the extra price, or should you kick up the proof to the 1920?
