Bottom Shelf Showdown #5? Sure, why the hell not. We've got Aristocrat, champion of college parties everywhere, vs. Ten High, which claims to be a bourbon whiskey. Virginia has been kind to us. Old Forester 1910 is now something we can find on the shelf, which has been lacking. Old Forester is typically a great choice at any expression, but let's see how this 93 proof entry in their Whisky Row series stands up. This is actually a whiskey trying to recreate what happened on the bottling line in 1910, which caused Old Forester to re-barrel a whiskey at a lower proof, which is what they do again with this expression. Is it worth the extra price, or should you kick up the proof to the 1920?
