This week Bourbon Famous reviewed some finished bourbon whiskies on opposite ends of the delicious spectrum. One of them was finished in port wine barrels (Angel's Envy), and the other is finished with apples (Clyde May's). Wait...apples?
Since the number of barrel proof bourbon offerings is increasing, we decided to try a staple in the barrel proof arena (Bookers) and a newcomer that you can rarely find in barrel proof form (Bulleit). Look close and you may even see a surprise cat.
This week we tried to pick three bourbons that might be enjoyed by people who don't actually like bourbon. We may have undertaken an impossible task.
