This week we're reviewing Michter's. Not regular Michter's, but FANCY Michter's. Well fancy-ish Michter's, it's not the crazy expensive one. We've got the US 1 Toasted Barrel Finish. This bottle is only 86 proof, but they take the regular sour mash bourbon, and age it again in new toasted Barrels. Since it's another new barrel, this is still a bourbon to me, but what do you all think. This is a limited release, but is it worth hunting for?

This week we tried Four Roses' newest addition, the Small Batch Select. This is a blend of 6 of the 10 Four Roses recipes and comes in at 104 proof. It also commands the highest price point of any of the regularly available bottles. Of course higher price for Four Roses is still reasonable in the current bourbon market. But is it worth your time to snag over the regular Single Barrel?
Finished Bourbon Whiskey, you are everywhere now, and this week's review brings us around to another one. This time we're trying a D.C. distillery, Joseph Magnus. This is their base offering bourbon and like any good base offering bourbon, it comes in at the low low price of $100. Still, at that price it has to at least be good. Doesn't it? Dear god please let it be good.
